The Pennsylvania Mental Health Consumer's Association Web site has been renovated and the new Web site went live today at www.pmhca.org.
MasseyNet first designed and developed a Web site for a Pennsylvania Mental Health Consumer's Association (PMHCA) project, the Pennsylvania Peer Support Coalition (PPSC) that went live July 2010. MasseyNet "hit the mark" on this Web site. Read more about the PPSC project. The PPSC Web site was built to be fully accessible, user friendly, and provide supports and resources for people in recovery who support others in their own recovery.
PMHCA approached MasseyNet to have their existing Web site reviewed for ADA compliance as well as to make suggestions on how to apply some of the same principle's from the PPSC Web site so that the PMHCA Web site could too "hit the mark".
While reviewing and writing new content for the PMHCA Web site, MasseyNet worked with PMHCA to create a new logo that better represented who they are today. MasseyNet developed their new tag line, Join us on the road to recovery. The new logo was developed to include aspects of the original logo while incorporating the mission, and new tag line, of the organization.
From there MasseyNet incorporated the power of words in the form of a word collage header, incorporating eight of the words most associated with PMHCA and its mission. The site was built to be ADA accessible and to provide resources and information to support the principles and practices of mental health recovery as well as promote the many projects and services of PMHCA.
MasseyNet is currently working with PMHCA to upgrade their membership database and provide searchable access to other PMHCA resources on their Web site.
MasseyNet.com, Inc., who built some of the first accessibility Web sites on the World Wide Web, provides Web site design and development services to non-profit organizations throughout the country, specializing in strategic planning and accessible design.
